Tiki Oasis is a five-night, four-day live music event, including pool lounging, fashion shows, swanky suites, sunset dinners, disc jockeys, art exhibits, educational seminars, a bustling Tiki Marketplace, wedding options, tropical cocktails curated by top mixologists, and more! Tiki Oasis is the original and largest Tiki event in the entire world
Over the past 25 years, the Tiki scene has evolved from a passionate gathering of dedicated enthusiasts into a dynamic and flourishing subculture. Throughout this journey, Tiki Oasis has remained a unifying thread, consistently bringing the community together and helping sustain its growth.
We didn’t set out to create the largest and longest-running Tiki event in the world. From the beginning, our aim was to craft an experience that would bring Tiki lovers together. Today, we are proud that through Tiki Oasis, so many have discovered not just a great party and fun festival, but a sense of family and community. –

Catamaran Luau
Tiki Oasis began in 2000 as an event to save the Tropics Motel in Palm Springs. In 2007, the event moved to San Diego and partnered with The Hanalei Hotel, with an opening night at Bali Hai. In 2021, the event moved to the Town and Country resort and is now partnering with another historic hotel, the Catamran Resort, and in the process supporting their business. Get the full weekend experience! Arrive on Wednesday and indulge yourself with a fun and relaxing Luau on the Bay at the Catamaran with a full night of friends and entertainment, and a classic style Luau!
A Bit of Hawaii in San Diego
Tour the grounds of the hotel featuring an indoor waterfall and museum quality collection of displays of Hawaiian artifacts.Take a stroll on the Catamaran pier or walk along the beach to get into that island style vibe.Every guest gets a good view of the stage and close proximity to food buffets. The Catamaran Hotel has improved the quality of the Luau setting by positioning the seating to face Mission Bay beach

SUNDAY NIGHT SHOWCASE FEATURING LENNY KAYE
On Sunday, August 10 – Town and Country Hotel Pacific Ballroom
We will have pinball machines set to free play, a few record dealers selling vinyl, and a rare performance by Lenny Kaye. Not only is Lenny the founder of the Patti Smith Group, he also resurrected and established the genre of American Garage Rock with the Nuggets compilation of 60s tracks that had been forgotten or underappreciated.
This is his only California show this year. He will be supported by Mike Stax and The Loons and will have special guests join them onstage. Lenny will also do a live DJ set earlier in the evening to share some of his fave tunes

LGBTIKI MEETUP – LAVENDER LUAU
The LGBTQ community has long shaped the Tiki scene, bringing a lavender lens from everything from fine art, design, sculpture, and entertainment. The LGBTiki Meet-Up is organized by Lavender Luau, the LGBTQ+ Tiki Oasis group for the encouragement of conversation and community, co-founded by Miss Kitty Baby and Cameron Obscura. We want YOU to look great at Tiki Oasis! Make an appointment in our Beauty BouTiki & Barbershop (Aug 6th – 10th) and we will transform you into the pin-up goddess or handsome devil you are meant to be! This year, we are offering hair, makeup, massage, and barbering services.
TIKI OASIS PHOTO STUDIO
Have you ever dreamt of having your own Professional Photos taken? Tiki Oasis is thrilled to join forces with photographers Scott Saw AND Melyssa Gonzalez to bring the Tiki Oasis audience these fine Tiki Oasis Photo Studio Packages! To book your shoot, you will need to pay a $50 deposit now and the rest closer to the event date. This includes a 60-minute photoshoot and a 60-minute hair and make-up session. Deposit/Payment is non-refundable, but is transferable.

Family-owned since its inception as a 40-room roadside lodge in 1953, Town and Country, Mission Valley’s first hotel, underwent significant expansions in 1968 and 1969. In honor of Town and Country’s history and mid-century roots, the hotel completed a 70 million-dollar renovation in 2020 and has been re-imagined into a modern retreat, unlike any other hotel in San Diego!
