Paws for Art, A benefit for the Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter, a First-Ever Gallery Benefit Show for Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter

Art and Animal Rescue join hands!

La Matadora Gallery teams up with the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter for the shelter’s first gallery-style benefit event! Paws for Art, a Benefit for the Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter, is a
a no-theme, variety collection donated by artists and collectors. The show will be displayed at La Matadora Gallery. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the shelter for the care, enrichment, and medical needs of the animals.

The exhibition features a diverse mix of artwork and unique pieces from local artists and collectors. A special highlight features a framed print from The Artist Shag and The Shag Store, titled “Dog Meet I” which will be available for silent auction. The winning bidder will be announced at 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 7. In addition to the silent auction item, all pieces will be available for sale at the event, with all proceeds supporting the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter. This event marks the first formal gallery presentation for the shelter, turning art into a powerful fundraising tool.

A partial preview of the art, and event entertainment information will be available soon.

The gallery and shelter are thrilled to create a space where art lovers can support a good cause while enjoying a diverse display of work. This a unique opportunity to give back to the animals in our community. We encourage artists and collectors to contribute, and lovers of art and animals to come prepared to bid and buy for the cause.
